Objective vs Subjective Morality Viewpoint
Subjectivists: There is no correct moral code for humans, it’s all what you feel
A lot of people do not believe there is a right way to set up human society. A lot of people believe that morality is completely subjective and based on a person’s feelings. The best example that I can give to explain what I mean is, there is a Star Wars actor who said something to the effect of
“There is no good or evil. That is the good thing about Star Wars, everyone can relate to either side and identify with them.”
That is pure evil and a completely retarded way of emotionalizing the world. This person is so emotionally blind and delusional that they believe there is LITERALLY NO DIFFERENCE between a SERIAL MURDERER and a doctor who delivers newborn babies. This Star Wars actor is claiming to not care whether a person is a SERIAL MURDERER or a DOCTOR who BRINGS LIFE INTO the world.
These people are lazy and short-term emotionalists. These people are only using their emotions to feel for what to do with their life. These people are major cowards. Fear is probably the biggest reason that they do not think about this issue from a reason-based, objective, and long-term approach.
Humans have a strong natural need to view themselves in a positive way. It is a survival need for us. Life is tough and a constant struggle, especially when you think about 1st evolved human’s environment, which is what designed human nature. In order for a human to survive they need to have a strong desire to fight for their life every day. A person cannot fight for themselves unless they believe they are a good person, who is worth fighting for. Humans have a natural level of narcissism and entitlement. In order for a person to view themselves positively, they need to view themselves as being AT LEAST far above average in skills, knowledge, and usefulness.
No one before 2022 figured out the optimal long term moral value system for human society. It is a REALLY hard problem. It is a problem that could not even be solved until the last 50 years, because there is so much knowledge that you need to have before you can solve it. There was a lot of people who kept pushing humanity forward and closer to solving this equation correctly, which is the only reason it is possible to understand today. I am reminding the reader that this equation is really hard and not everyone has the natural brain power to solve this equation. I am letting you know this to help you understand how the mind works.
So, if we are going to be fair, then we should explain that the cowards who think human morality is unsolvable should be put into two different groups; cowards who have the ability to solve this problem but choose not to and people who say its unsolvable because they do not have the brain power to do so. The coward who is not smart enough to solve the problem, is most likely running from the fact that their brain has limits and they do not want to admit it. This person does not want to face the cognitive dissonance that they are not as smart as they believe. The coward who has the power to solve the equation but chooses not to, is most likely running away from the long, challenging, and nearly impossible road that they would need to take, in order to solve it. The road to discovering optimal moral principles for humans involves; loneliness, many years of research without a guarantee that you’ll figure it out, large amounts of societal pressure from all levels to stop this path and do something else, and if you do manage to solve the equation then you have an almost bigger task to spread it without being murdered or thrown in jail. Humans do not like change. Humans will fight against people who try to change things. Nothing changes society more than a new moral value system. Anyone who tries to solve this problem will face wave after wave of people fighting you and trying to literally stop or murder you.
It is understandable why people do not want to face those things. These people are cowards, but it is somewhat understandable.
Objective: Only Heroes do the work, make the effort, and bravely take on whatever needs to be taken on, to push Humanity forward
At the end of the day though, cowards do not move humanity forward to more optimal conditions. This is why humans value heroes instead of cowards. A person does not have to have super brain power to not be a coward, all they have to do is be honest with themselves and do the best they can to face life and objective reality head on. It should be noted that there have been many heroes who dedicated their life to solving this equation, to the best of their ability, based on the knowledge they had, during the time that they worked on the equation. These heroes are what has made it possible to reach the levels that we are at now in human history. It would not be possible to discover optimal moral principles for humans, without the effort and work of these heroes who bravely took on the world, so that they could improve it for themselves and their family.
I want it to be clear that I am not saying that I am a better human than the heroes before me, who tried to solve the moral equation, but did not complete it before they died. I am saying that I am in the same category as those heroes and that I am 100% grateful for the work that those heroes did, which made my work even possible. I cannot do any of the stuff that I did, without the knowledge, evidence, and concepts that came before me, which was the result of hard work, reason, and a dominant will to discover what is true.
I would be willing to bet that if you took all the heroes before me, who did work that made it possible for me to finish the equation, and you measured each one of their IQ’s, I bet that I am below average. I am a base-level genius. I am smarter than 98% of the population, but there are a ton of people who are still way smarter than me. Whatever the line is for genius, I am technically over it, but not by much. There was a special class in my K-12 school system for kids who are genius level, where we would go 1 day a week to work on more challenging stuff. I was one of the best athletes in that class, but I was last or close to it, when it came to raw brain power.
The best way to put what I did in perspective is to think about the “optimal moral principles equation” as a puzzle. 1st evolved humans had no puzzle and no concept of morality, they were all instinct to start. Over time, humans gained knowledge through experiments of guess and check and slowly they began to build up the puzzle. When I was born, the puzzle was already like 90% solved correctly. There are many ideologies that claim that they have the correctly solved puzzle, but in reality, there was only one ideology that was close. One ideology has the correct starting point and end point for the individual, but they get mixed up some in between. It should be noted that the internet gives me a 1,000,000,000% advantage over all the moral heroes who came before me. I have access to the works of all human minds, in a way that pre-internet cannot compare. The tools that I have to finish this puzzle, are literally way ahead of anyone who died before 1986.
Think about Eistein’s theory of relativity. How many humans before him made it possible for him to solve the equations that he did? I am not a physicist, so I do not know all the knowledge that had to be acquired by humans for Eistein to do his problem solving for E=MC^2. He could not do that without Newton and all the people who came in between those two. Eistein also owes a debt of gratitude to Greek society for the math and knowledge that they provided, as well as everyone in between ancient Greece and Eistein.
You can think about knowledge as a bubble. In order to push that bubble to be bigger you need to go beyond what is currently known. You need to go beyond the boundaries of that bubble and pop all the ignorance bubbles that are currently keeping the knowledge bubble as small as it is. A coward does not go into the unknown. The only way that humanity moves forward, is by the actions of a hero.
Objective morality exists, but to accurately judge it, you need to view it in the context of what is Optimal based on the knowledge and survival dynamics of the time.
Objective morality is the idea that there is a clear fact-based answer to knowing what is right and wrong. This means that the moral principles are correct regardless of race, location, or anything else that separates humans. Objective morality means that the source for this morality comes from a source outside the human, because it has to be correct for all humans. Objective morality is not determined by human feelings or opinion.
The correct outside source for objective morality is objective reality. Reality exists independent of human emotion. Reality existed long before humans. All human life takes place in reality. There is a lot of internal thoughts that humans have, but all of those thoughts take place in an organic body that exists in reality. The human organic body would not have evolved and survived in an objective world, unless it had an objective nature. There is literally no way for an organism to evolve without a fundamental nature that works with the laws of nature. It’s literally impossible for an organic organism to live without living within the laws of nature.
Reality is just made up of energy. Everything is energy, as Eistein demonstrated. This energy has taken the forms that it has; planets, stars, blackholes, moons, water, humans, whales, dinosaurs, etc. because the energy is controlled and acted on by the objective laws of nature. Energy in its purest form is not conscious. It just exists. Energy moves based on the laws of nature. All the energy in the universe has taken the shape that it has because the laws of nature told it to.
Humans are alive first and foremost, because they do what the laws of nature tell them. I do not want to use the word slave, because reality is not conscious. I will use the word slave though to make sure that I 100% have your attention. There is one slave master that humans will never be able to escape and that slave master’s name is physics. Everything that humans do is because physics allows it. We are physics little slave. We can accept this objective truth or we can reject it, ignore it, or try to escape it. The fact of the matter is, we will never be able to be anything without physics. A human can try to reject physics, but it’s impossible. The only path to a human reaching their full potential is if they work with physics to make their best life. It’s impossible for a person to reach their full potential if their strategy for life goes against physics. Going against physics is irrational and inefficient. There is only one path for humans to reach their full potential and that is if they objectively work within the objective laws of reality.
Objective morality says that some actions are good or bad. Good or bad based on what? How do we judge whether an action is good or bad? We need to judge the action against reality, human nature, and the long-term consequences of the action. We have already talked about how reality is objective. We also talked about how human nature has to be objective in order for humans to survive, but we did not define what is in that nature.
What can we objectively say about human nature?
-
It is finite. Humans do not live forever. We only have a short time to experience life.
-
Humans are energy. In order for our bodies to grow and maintain themselves, humans need to take in energy for their body.
-
Not all energy works either. Humans would not survive if they only consumed stones.
-
Humans need energy that works for them. This is not a food diet book, so I will only make a short comment on diet. There is a reason why meat tastes good for humans. The reason that humans like the taste of meat so well, is because it is the most healthy and easy to digest food for humans. The human body evolved to say, “I want meat.” The carnivore diet is solving a lot of modern processed food problems for a reason. Everything the human body needs to survive and thrive can be found in meat. Don’t trust me though, look at the facts yourself.
-
The human body is not perfect in its energy usage, which means that humans have to expel waste.
-
-
Humans are tribal in nature.
-
Humans cannot survive to reach adulthood without a tribe to support them through childhood.
-
Loneliness is lethal in humans. This is most likely due to the fact that humans would almost certainly die if they wondered into the jungle alone.
-
Humans first words are typically the names of the people who care for them. They are increasing their ability to connect with the people who directly care for them and make it possible for them to stay alive.
-
One person can only learn so much on their own. The bigger the group of people, the bigger the number of brains that are working on solving a problem. Humans learn from and build on each other’s thoughts.
-
Tribes increase a human’s ability to get resources to live.
-
Humans need a tribe for defense from bears and other humans.
-
-
Humans are independent and desire control over their life path.
-
The 3rd word that a baby typically says is “no.” The baby understands that it needs other humans to live, but it still wants the right to say no. The baby wants the right to make choices.
-
Humans often make the same mistake that many other humans make, because we have a high regard for our own ability, so we often need to experience something firsthand.
-
Systems based on fear, slavery, or a ton of control, always lead to revolution and rebellion. People do not want to be controlled by other people. Not everyone wants to be tribal leader or president of a country, but every single human being wants the right to say “no” same as a baby human.
-
Societies outlaw murder, assault, stealing, etc because these things lead to more violence and problems for that society.
-
One of the biggest hurdles that humans had to overcome, was trying to figure out how to stop and prevent revenge killing. For example, if someone murders your mother, then you have a strong desire to murder that person back. The big problem that happens with humans is the simple fact that revenge always involves escalation. “You murdered my mother, now I’m going to murder your mother and father.”
-
Humans probably tend to escalate revenge violence, because we hope that it makes it clear to never do that again to us, or we will just do it way worse to you. This strategy works against some people, but with some people it leads to ever growing violence.
-
-
-
Humans fiercely fight to be the best, because the best gets all the rewards. Access to more resources and sex rights. Status in the tribe is important because it means that you have access to more people who can potentially help you survive and better your current life situation.

-
Humans have a brain that can be broken down into its two main parts: the primal brain and the frontal lobe.
-
The primal brain is the 1st level of human consciousness. The frontal lobe is the 2nd level of consciousness. All human thoughts and experiences start in the primal brain, but it is not a guarantee that they go through the frontal lobe before the human takes action. The frontal lobe does not work much if the primal brain is fully engaged.
-
The primal brain is central to humans and controls all instincts and emotions. The primal brain is short term survival based.
-
The frontal lobe is where humans use reason to think about their life and the problems they face in a long-term way.
-
-
Humans have a strong desire to stay alive, just like all animals. Everything humans do is centered around the central idea of survival.
-
Human instinct is completely focused on maintaining life for the organism.
-
-
Humans have a strong desire to go beyond basic survival. Humans have a strong desire to thrive. Humans must first survive, but then they have a strong desire to thrive beyond the basic survival, for themselves and their kids, grandkids, etc. that come from them.
-
The frontal lobe allows humans to process large amounts of data. All non-human animals are short term survival based. They do not think beyond the day or year. Humans’ frontal lobe allows us to analyze billions of years. Humans look to help their grandkids survive in a thousand years. When thinking about this problem I thought about from now to “human forever.” Humans won’t live infinitely, but I was looking at the problem to include all future humans into the optimal moral code for humans.
-
Humans go into great detail in art, entertainment, music, knowledge and all other kinds of areas, because we just have a desire to know everything and excel at everything.
-
Humans understand that they cannot thrive to the levels that they desire, because they have to make sure they survive first, but everyone has heard someone say before, “If I had another 100 years, I would…..”
-
What premises do you need in the equation to figure out what optimal moral principles are for humans.
-
“Life affirming and human flourishing” vs “anti-human flourishing/life”
-
2nd judge the behavior against human nature to survive and thrive.
-
Judge the behavior against objective reality.
-
Judge behavior against the knowledge, evidence, and technology of that specific year.
Objective morality is only possible based on the current knowledge of humans at that time, which means that you cannot judge actions based on a scale that does not include the knowledge of that time period. It is true that we now have the knowledge to optimally discover the objective moral code for humans, but that was not the case for first evolved humans.
One of the attempted cases against objective moral code is that people say that human’s morality has always changed with the times. This is true, but societies changing moral codes, does not mean that it isn’t possible to come up with an optimal moral code for that society based on the time periods knowledge about reality’s nature and human nature, plus the technology of the time has to be factored in. Humans are emotional, and not everyone is able to control their primal brain, but that doesn’t change the fact that there are optimal morals based on the knowledge that you have. Similar to sports strategies changing as knowledge increases.
Examples of human behavior that were optimally objective at one point in human history but is now anti-optimal moral behavior.
-
Sex with kids who are physically ready for producing kids is good for 1st evolved humans because humans died so young then that if they waited till 16-21 then humans would not have likely survived. Today, its horribly immoral, because humans live long enough that we can afford to wait till 18 or so. It is optimal for humans to wait longer to make lifelong decisions so that their brain is more developed and they have more time to think through major life decisions.
-
Alpha men beating the shit out of each other for dominance of tribe leader was probably for the best for first evolved humans. We had to be strong and dominant in order to break out of jungle. It is not optimal to determine leadership based on strength alone, long term. It is optimal to have a society that stops assault from happening.
-
Slavery was optimal at one time. Humans cannot even have a concept of “win-win” without going through a period of time that is “win-lose” in order to build up the knowledge and technology needed to conceptualize “win-win.”
-
Rape was probably a big part of 1st evolved tribe life. The reason I think there is something known as the rape fantasy is because rape was probably common in the very beginning. A woman’s nature had to evolve to handle that to some degree. The fantasy of being overpowered, probably comes from the fact that a lot of it was probably rape and the way that females made sure they were mating with a strong enough male, was to fight and resist. If a man was too weak to overpower her then she should fight back and not let him rape her, because the child will be weak. Once the woman realizes the man is strong enough that she feels ok with combining with his DNA, then some instinct mechanism takes over.
-
Rape is 100% wrong in today’s world. Do not mistake me with saying it’s ok now.
